August 28, 2010 -- Our sincere thanks for helping to make this year's Orange Open Farms Day such a great success!  The weather could not have been more perfect, and we were excited to greet all of you at our farms.  We hope that you enjoyed your visits, and that you will make a visit to Orange Open Farms Day part of your late summer activities next year!

Welcome to www.orangectfarms.com, the official website of Orange Open Farms Day!  This year's event will be held on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 from 12:00 to 4:30 pm at five farms located throughout beautiful Orange, Connecticut.

The purpose of Orange Open Farms Day is to welcome the public to several of Orange's working farms, and allow their owners to showcase their fresh, local grown produce, beautiful animals and exciting farm activities. Each farm will have items for sale, and some will offer demonstrations or activities that we hope will be of interest to adults and children alike!   

In order to locate the five farms taking part, simply click on the Farm Map link located to the right.  You may also wish to print a Farm Pass, which you should bring with you to each of the farms.  Visitors obtaining a stamp from each of the five participating farms will have the chance to enter a raffle for a one-of-a-kind prize, consisting of items generously donated by each of the farms.
